The only material used in manufacturing the shields is LEXAN 9030 polycarbonate supplied by GE General Electric. The material is tested in compliance with the GE General Electric data sheet and by the Materials Testing Institute (MPA) concerning reaction to chemicals and flammability of edges and surfaces.
